BEC Consultants engages with local community groups, including TidyTowns, in support of funding applications to undertake local biodiversity projects. Funding sources available for local community projects include LEADER, Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund and The Heritage Council. These projects can include habitat and species surveys, both terrestrial and freshwater, biodiversity audits and management plans, providing local groups with the information they need to enhance the natural environment of their area.
